It's a guilty pleasure if you think about it, a short cut to someone's diet if you let it. I use to be one of those that survived on Mi Goreng, and the mission was one of those times. Pretty much every night after coming home I would sit in front of a Mi Goreng Box and consume my life away until one day I had an epiphany (a year or so ago) about this Indonesian Import. If it tastes so good, there's gotta be a catch somewhere. And that catch is....

It is such an easy solution, I mean who has the time to cook a healthy meal these days? It's convenient and easy as 1, 2, 3. And so today while commenting on facebook status' I had the idea to write about this and look up some nutritional information. Here are my findings...

There is less fat, less salt and less calories in a slice of dominoes pizza than in mi goreng. Dominoes pizza is considered the highest calorie fast food meal.
Yes yes, the glorious BIG MAC has a larger number of calories with 576 but hey, 2 packs of migoreng = 780 calories... so you really may as well have that big mac.

In conclusion, I have come to where I dont eat mi goreng noodles anymore, 1 because I have grown out of the taste and 2 because it's not helping me achieve my hawaii body that I mentioned in previous posts. In saying that everything is meant to be eaten in moderation and that goes for McDonalds, you aren't suppose to eat it for every meal. But then it's up to you brooooooooo...
